Sylvan Lake State Park is a favorite place to hike near Eagle, but watch out for snow storms as late as the first week in June! We had a heck of a time putting up our awning as icy clouds unexpectedly raced down on us from the surrounding mountains. But, after a couple of hours, the sun was back out again, and things warmed up - that's weather in Colorado, though! |
